Title
The people want ...
Subject
handwritten notes
Description
A collection of demands expressed by individual citizens, pinned to a tree in Tahrir Square. It demonstrates the differences amongst ordinary Egyptians in terms of what they wanted from the revolution.
The act of pinning handwritten notes to a tree in Tahrir Square also illustrates the new found freedom of expression and the new relationship between ordinary people and public space in the wake of the 25 January 2011 uprising.
