The song satirises the building of barricades and walls (by the military and the police) to separate streets and neighbourhoods in the aftermath of the 2011 Revolution. These walls were built to prevent the protesters from reaching certain streets around the Tahrir Square area, such as Mohammed Mahmoud and Sheikh Rihan streets, which lead to the Ministry of Interior building.
